England name Haseeb Hameed, Zafar Ansari and Ben Duckett in their squad to tour Bangladesh, while Gareth Batty makes a return after an 11-year absence.

England have selected Lancashire opener Haseeb Hameed in their Test squad to tour Bangladesh this winter.

The 19-year-old has been in excellent form for his county during the 2016 season and he has been given a chance to impress on the international stage in the absence of Alex Hales.

There are also callups for Northamptonshire opener Ben Duckett and Surrey spinner Zafar Ansari, who would have faced Pakistan 12 months ago had it not been for a thumb injury.

Gareth Batty - at the age of 38 - is also handed a recall to the Test arena after not making an appearance since 2005.

In the middle order, Gary Ballance retains his place in the squad but James Vince is a notable absentee after performing inconsistently over the summer.
