A report claims that West Bromwich Albion want to sign AS Monaco's Lacina Traore, who is currently on loan at CSKA Moscow.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering a move for AS Monaco forward Lacina Traore.

The 26-year-old, who has previously represented Everton during a loan spell in 2014, is currently on loan at Russian side CSKA Moscow until the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

Traore will be out of contract at Monaco in the summer of 2018, however, and according to The Mirror, West Brom are keen on bringing the powerful striker back to the Premier League.

The report claims that the Baggies had scouts in attendance to watch CSKA's Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen last week, where Traore led the Russian side's line.

Traore, who has also previously represented Anzhi Makhachkala, has scored twice in five appearances for CSKA this season.
