Chelsea eye young Millwall defender Christian Mbulu?

A report claims that Premier League side Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Millwall's young defender Christian Mbulu.

Millwall defender Christian Mbulu has reportedly been the subject of interest from scouts at Chelsea over recent weeks.

The 19-year-old is yet to feature in a senior fixture since he joined the Lions from non-league side Brentwood Town last summer.

Nevertheless, the Premier League West Londoners have been alerted by Mbulu's performances at Under-21 level, according to The Sun.

The youngster, who recently had a loan spell with Canvey Island, has been compared to Manchester United centre-back Chris Smalling.
