Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has insisted that his side are capable of challenging Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title this season.

Most bookmakers see the Reds as the only side capable of mounting a serious challenge to Pep Guardiola's incumbent champions, but the Blues have made a perfect start to the new season under new boss Maurizio Sarri and sit second in the table on goal difference.

"We are a little bit in the shadow," Hazard is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard. "That is good. We just try to do our job, win games and then we will see. Of course, I believe we can challenge, especially in the Premier League, as you never know what is going to happen.

"We want to be champions, even if we know it is going to be hard because City, Liverpool and Tottenham are very strong. We will see at the end but we want to be on the top."

Hazard has won two Premier League titles, as well as the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup, during his six years at Stamford Bridge.
