Brooks Koepka holds off an inspired performance from Tiger Woods to register a two-shot victory at the US PGA Championship.

Brooks Koepka has won his second Major title of 2018 after holding off an inspired comeback from Tiger Woods at the US PGA Championship.

Koepka - who claimed the US Open in June - held a two-shot lead heading into the final round, and the American ended the tournament at Bellervire by emerging victorious by the same margin after producing a 66.

However, while the 28-year-old was calmness personified in claiming his third Major crown, it was Woods who captivated the crowd with seven birdies from his first 15 holes to get to within one shot of the lead.

A fine par save at 17 and a 19-foot birdie putt on the last kept Woods's hopes alive, but Koepka was faultless on the back nine and it proved crucial in securing the victory.

Australia's Adam Scott finished in third place - with a missed par putt on the last gifting Woods second spot on his own - while Stewart Cink and Jon Rahm completed the top five.

Last year's winner Justin Thomas and Open champion Francesco Molinari were among a group of players to share sixth position, with England's Tyrrell Hatton finishing in a tie for 10th.

Justin Rose ended the event in 19th, Ian Poulter was 31st, Tommy Fleetwood claimed 35th and Rory McIlroy was down in 50th place.
