Celtic are reportedly not interested in signing Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass, despite the Scotland international being willing to take a pay cut to move.

Celtic have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass during the January transfer window.

The Tigers could look to cash in on the Scotland international next month after he rejected a new contract at the club, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season.

The likes of West Ham United, Middlesbrough, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland have all been linked with moves for the 29-year-old, but the player's preferred choice is understood to be a switch to Parkhead.

The Daily Record reports that Snodgrass was willing to take a substantial pay cut in order to facilitate a move to the Scottish champions, but Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has shown no sign of interest in the midfielder.

Snodgrass is Hull's top scorer in the Premier League this season, netting five times in 16 appearances for the struggling Tigers, who have reportedly earmarked Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero as a possible replacement.
