The father and agent of Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben reveals that the Dutchman wants to sign a new deal at the Allianz Arena.

Arjen Robben is interested in signing a new contract with Bayern Munich, according to the Dutchman's father and agent Hans Robben.

The 32-year-old has struggled with a succession of injuries over the last couple of seasons and missed the start of the new campaign after aggravating a groin problem during pre-season.

Robben will be out of contract at the Allianz Arena next summer, but his representative and father has revealed that the attacker does want to pen an extension with the German champions.

"He would like to stay. Normally it shouldn't be a problem, but it takes two to tango," Hans Robben told Kicker.

Robben has not started a league match for Bayern since March, but he came off the bench in Wednesday's Champions League match away to Atletico Madrid, which the German side lost 1-0.
