Barcelona stretched their lead at the top of La Liga to four points courtesy of a 2-0 win over basement side Malaga at Camp Nou on Saturday night.
Second-placed Valencia had closed the gap to one point after thumping Sevilla, but Barcelona, who are now eight points clear of third-placed Real Madrid, recorded their eighth league win of the season to move clear at the summit.
