Real Madrid are reportedly looking at exercising the buy-back clause in Alvaro Morata's contract, only to then sell the Juventus striker on to Arsenal.

Real Madrid have reportedly set their sights on bringing Juventus striker Alvaro Morata back to the Bernabeu this summer.

The 23-year-old moved to Serie A from Madrid in the summer of 2014 for €20m (£15.8m), but has a clause in his contract stipulating that Madrid can re-sign him for €30m (£23.7m).

AS reports that Madrid are looking at exercising that clause, having seen Morata score a number of key goals in the Champions League over the past two seasons.

However, the report goes on to state that Madrid would immediately look to sell the Spain international to Arsenal, who are thought to be interested in the striker.

The Spanish giants reportedly plan to slap a €50m (£39.5m) price-tag on Morata if he does return to the club, before allowing him to join another side.
