Real Madrid travelled to Wolfsburg for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.
The visitors started on the front foot in Germany, but were two goals behind inside 25 minutes courtesy of a penalty from Ricardo Rodriguez and Maximilian Arnold strike.
Real Madrid continued to create opportunities in the second period, but the Spanish giants could not register as Wolfsburg secured a strong advantage ahead of the second leg next week.
