Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart challenges his side to make their away goals count after holding PSG to a 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has challenged his teammates to make their two away goals against Paris Saint-Germain count when they welcome the Ligue 1 champions back to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho both scored for the Citizens at the Parc des Princes either side of goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adrien Rabiot as the Premier League side came away with a 2-2 draw from the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Hart was back in the side after a recent calf injury and made an impact by saving an early Ibrahimovic penalty, only to then be beaten by a freak goal from the Swede when he blocked a lackadaisical pass from Fernando.

"It was a crazy game that we were fully involved in. It was a good game of football and we will wait and see how good a result that is. Two away goals is great, hopefully we make them count. Both teams will always have chances at this stage of the cup," Hart is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"Zlatan is not bad is he? I haven't seen it again but the penalty felt very soft. It was a terrible first goal to concede, I gave Fernando the ball and he thought there was an option to pass it, the big man put his size 15s through it and the ball went in.

"We are making history for this club and we don't want it to end. I am proud of the back four tonight."

Nine of the 11 teams to have picked up a 2-2 draw in the first leg of an away Champions League game have gone on to win the tie.
