Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista has urged his teammates to "forget" about their rivals in the Premier League title race and solely focus on their own fixture list.
Arsene Wenger's side are currently third in the table, 11 points behind leaders Leicester City with seven games left to play.
Arsenal's North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are second in the standings, four points above the Gunners and seven points adrift of top spot.
"First I hope that we'll be able to win the seven matches we have left," Gabriel told Arsenal Player. "We must focus on that and forget about the other teams and whether they're winning or losing. There are many surprises [in the Premier League]. The competition has been very difficult and is very complicated.
"The team at the top of the league have a large points difference and the big teams fluctuate a lot and they lose some games that they shouldn't lose. It's a very hard competition.
"There will [still] be surprises but I hope that the surprises will be on the other teams and that we can win all seven games to be champions."
Arsenal's next game is against West Ham United at Upton Park on Saturday.
