James Maddison and Ryan Fredericks are reportedly summer transfer targets for Arsenal, who will attempt to offload Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi to make room.

Arsenal are looking to replace Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi with younger English alternatives, according to a report.

The pair have failed to produce this season and could be part of a mass clear-out to coincide with manager Arsene Wenger's departure.

Xhaka and Mustafi will be allowed to leave if any offers are forthcoming, and The Mirror claims that Norwich City midfielder James Maddison and Fulham full-back Ryan Fredericks have been eyed up.

Maddison is wanted by as many as seven top-flight clubs, seeing his valuation shoot up, while the Cottagers will demand an inflated fee for Fredericks after he was named in the PFA Team of the Year.

Arsenal are also rumoured to be monitoring Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
