Hugo Lloris reportedly turns down a five-year contract offer from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has reportedly rebuffed a contract offer from the North London club.

The 29-year-old is believed to have opened negotiations with the Premier League outfit following their impressive season, which ended in a third-place finish and qualification to next season's Champions League.

According to The Mirror, Lloris has not accepted Spurs' offer of a new five-year deal and is expected to hold out for a bigger wage packet.

Despite their goalkeeper turning down the new terms, Spurs are reportedly confident that Lloris will commit his long-term future to White Hart Lane.

The Frenchman, who will captain his country at Euro 2016, is currently contracted to the club until 2019.
