Slovenia boss Srecko Katanec acknowledges that his side will have to be at their absolute best to have any hope of beating the Ukraine to advance to Euro 2016.

Slovenia boss Srecko Katanec has admitted that his side will have to produce their best football to defeat the Ukraine in the second leg of their Euro 2016 playoff following their loss on Saturday.

Katanec's men face an uphill task to turn the tie around as goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Yevhen Seleznyov fired Ukraine to a 2-0 win in the first leg at the Arena Lviv.

However, the 52-year-old has insisted that his team will go all out to attack Mikhail Fomenko's men in their clash in Maribor.

He told reporters: "It was very disappointing that we missed all our chances, particularly one at the start of the game.

"However, we still have the second leg so this is not the end of our campaign. We still have to play at home and our fate remains in our hands.

"We will try to produce our best football at home and will try to secure a result."

The second leg takes place on Tuesday.
