Fabinho is said to have agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain and is now waiting for AS Monaco to accept an offer.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly still at the front of the queue to sign Fabinho from Ligue 1 title rivals AS Monaco, despite falling short with their initial approach.

Fabinho is understood to have been at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war between Chelsea and Manchester United earlier in the summer, preferring the latter of the two due to his admiration of Jose Mourinho.

United have allowed PSG to steal a march on them by delaying an offer for the Monaco ace, however, with Goal.com reporting that a £39m bid was recently tabled by the Parisians.

Monaco have rebuffed that approach and are also said to be reluctant to sell to a direct rival, who they beat to the French top-flight crown last season.

The same report suggests that Fabinho is keen to join the capital club, though, and has already agreed terms in the hope that Monaco will stand down in negotiations.
