There have been a number of players on this countdown who have made an impression during a relatively brief stay at Liverpool, but none have done so to quite the extent of Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan international produced arguably the best individual season in Premier League history when helping Liverpool to the brink of the title in 2013-14, scoring 31 goals in just 33 games as Brendan Rodgers's side fell agonisingly short of ending their top-flight drought.

Such was the impact he had on the team that Liverpool slipped from second place down to sixth following his departure to Barcelona, and while plenty of others contributed to the near-miss in his final season at Anfield, it was Suarez who carried the team to the brink of glory.

Suarez had also hit 30 goals in the campaign before that and was Liverpool's top scorer in each of his three full seasons with the club, eventually ending his time with 82 goals in 133 games across all competitions, including 69 in 110 Premier League outings.

The striker's time at Anfield was not without its controversies - namely an allegation of racist abuse towards Patrice Evra and biting Branislav Ivanovic - but his genius on the field will be the abiding memory of his three-and-a-half-year Premier League career.
