A report claims that Paul Pogba is in the firing line after his agent publicly stated that the midfielder wants to leave Manchester United.

Manchester United have reportedly been left angry with Paul Pogba following comments made by the midfielder's agent Mino Raiola in the Italian press.

Raiola discussed Pogba's future in an interview with Tuttosport, explosive comments from which have been drip-fed over the past 24 hours.

Among other remarks made, the Frenchman's outspoken representative reiterated that his client wants to leave United and advised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to stop discussing Erling Braut Haaland.

United have a crucial Champions League game against RB Leipzig on Tuesday evening and, according to The Athletic, Red Devils chiefs are hugely annoyed at the timing of the interview.

Pogba, who has 18 months to run on his existing contract at Old Trafford, is said to be in the firing line.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and former club Juventus have all been linked with the World Cup winner in recent months.
