Man United tipped to move for Seri

ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno tips Manchester United to move ahead of Manchester City in the race of Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri.

Pundit Alejandro Moreno has claimed that Manchester United are likely to move for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri over Manchester City.

The local rivals have both been linked with moves for the 26-year-old, who has started 22 Ligue 1 games this season and has created five assists and scored one goal in all competitions.

Moreno believes that United are in need of a player with Seri's quality, while City could afford to go without due to the strength in Pep Guardiola's side.

"Everybody's compared to N'Golo Kante nowadays," Moreno told ESPN. "Everybody wants to find that guy. Well good luck with that, I don't think that's happening.

"If you're Manchester United you need this type of player more so than Manchester City, and for that reason I think Manchester United would make a run at him and not Manchester City."

Seri has been part of the Nice squad since 2015.
