Eddie Hearn: 'Deontay Wilder has lost his mind'

Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn hits out at Deontay Wilder for insinuating that he wants to kill somebody in the ring.

Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has blasted Deontay Wilder for the controversial comments he made this weekend.

The undefeated American, who has been tipped as a future opponent for Joshua, recently insinuated that he is aiming to kill somebody inside the ring.

In response, Hearn has now accused Wilder of deliberately courting controversy to force a bout against the British heavyweight.

"He [Wilder] has completely lost his head, and he is prepared to say or do anything to make the fight, other than actually try and make the fight," Boxing News quotes the promoter as saying.

Defeating Wilder would see Joshua add the WBC belt to his WBA, WBO and IBF honours, but the fight is yet to be formally arranged.
