Great Britain are drawn against Uzbekistan in September's Davis Cup playoff.

Great Britain have been drawn against Uzbekistan in the Davis Cup playoffs.

The contest will determine which of the two teams will be relegated from the World Group ahead of the 2019 season.

The loser of the tie, which will take place over three days from September 14, will drop into the Europe/Africa zonal group.

Britain were forced to contest a playoff match after losing to Spain in the first round, a match they had to play without the injured Andy Murray and Kyle Edmund.

Both players could return to Davis Cup action for the Uzbekistan meeting.
