Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists that his side's looming clash with Watford is no different for the club despite having lost their last two fixtures.

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has insisted that his side must give every game equal respect ahead of their Premier League clash with Watford this weekend.

Following an impressive start under Mourinho, United now face a battle to prevent three straight defeats as they travel to face the Hornets at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

"Watford? I think Man United has to show every game, every game, every competition," Mourinho told reporters ahead of the clash.

"The club is too big, the supporters are too passionate for the professionals not to feel that every game is a very important game, so I don't think they should need a defeat or in this case two defeats to try to give everything they have to give.

"It should belong to them and that is what I expect from them - it is that on Sunday we will try to win the match, normal."

The Red Devils currently hold fifth position in the league standings, having earned nine points from a possible 12 so far this campaign.
