How Watford could line up against Manchester United

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between Watford and Manchester United, Sports Mole looks at how the 100% Hornets could line up at Vicarage Road.

Never before have Watford won their opening four matches of a top-flight season, but that is the position they find themselves in ahead of Saturday's home match against Manchester United.

The Hornets entered the international break with a 100% record across all competitions, coupling an EFL Cup victory with four straight Premier League wins which have left them level with Liverpool and Chelsea at the top of the table.

Indeed, some may even tip Javi Gracia's side as slight favourites for the visit of United following their come-from-behind victory over Tottenham Hotspur last time out, and they will no doubt go into the match brimming with confidence.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Watford could line up at Vicarage Road.

Out: Tom Cleverley (Achilles), Gerard Deulofeu (muscular)

Hopes that Deulofeu would be ready to return after the international break have been dashed by Gracia, but the former Barcelona winger is nearing full fitness and should be ready to feature in the coming weeks.

That Gracia has no desire to rush the Spaniard back speaks volumes for the confidence he has in his current fit players, and he could name an unchanged side for the fifth Premier League game in a row this weekend.

The strike partnership of Troy Deeney and Andre Gray has impressed so far this season, but it is Roberto Pereyra who is the Hornets' top scorer with three goals in four league games.

Jose Holebas has registered one goal and four assists of his own, meanwhile, and with no new injury concerns Gracia is unlikely to make any changes to what has been a winning formula so far this season.
