Manchester City teenager Gabriel Jesus sparks injury concern after getting stretchered off while playing for Palmeiras.

Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus was stretchered off with an injury while playing for Palmeiras at the weekend.

The 19-year-old, who signed for City last month for a reported £27m fee, is not due to join up with Pep Guardiola's side until December.

Injury concerns now surround the teenager after he was carried off the pitch after playing 75 minutes of Palmeiras's goalless draw away to Gremio.

Jesus's outing was his third game in six days following appearances for Brazil in their World Cup qualifier against Colombia and a club clash against Sao Paulo.
