Manu Kone is reportedly on Liverpool's transfer shortlist this summer, as the club looks to add midfield reinforcements to their squad.

Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach's Manu Kone this summer.

Kone has become a regular in the Gladbach midfield, and has gained plaudits for his tough, combative style of play.

With James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita all leaving Liverpool when their contracts expire in the summer, the club are on the lookout for midfield replacements.

Therefore, BILD claims that Liverpool have serious interest in the Frenchman, especially after being priced out of a move for Jude Bellingham.

The report states that Gladbach will only listen to offers in the region of €40-45m (£34-38m) before beginning negotiations with the Premier League club.

Kone joined the Foals for €9m (£8m) from Toulouse back in 2021, and despite a disappointing season for the club, finishing in 10th, Kone could be set for a big move.

Liverpool are seemingly on the lookout for more than just one midfield addition this summer, with Alexis Mac Allister also being heavily linked with a move to Anfield.
