Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he has "no problem" with comments made by Mario Balotelli's agent, who recently labelled the Liverpool boss "a piece of shit".

The German was criticised by Mino Raiola soon after Balotelli ended his Anfield disappointment by completing a permanent switch to a Nice on a free transfer, just two years on from his £16m move to Merseyside.

Raiola accused Klopp of snubbing the striker when refusing to give him a chance in the first team last season, but the former Borussia Dortmund manager is unwilling to be drawn into a war of words with the super agent.

"We did not isolate him," he told reporters. "That's part of the business I am not interested in. It's a free world so he can say what he wants, no problem."

Upon joining Nice last week, Balotelli vowed that he will not pose a risk to his new club following years of off-field controversy.
