Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante is reportedly in negotiations with the club regarding an improved four-year contract.

Leicester City have reportedly offered N'Golo Kante a new four-year contract in the hope of convincing the midfielder to stay at the King Power Stadium.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Premier League champions this summer after playing a pivotal role in Leicester's historic season.

Recent reports have claimed that Kante has begun talks with Chelsea regarding a switch to Antonio Conte's side at Stamford Bridge.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Kante's camp remain in negotiations with Leicester, who tabled the new contract prior to the European Championships.

The France international joined the Foxes from Caen last year.
