Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up in Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Chelsea are expected to have Edouard Mendy available for Saturday afternoon's key Premier League clash against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

Mendy has missed his side's last two matches with a knock that he sustained in training, but the goalkeeper is believed to be winning his battle to start against the reigning English champions.

Christian Pulisic is still out due to an ankle problem, while Mason Mount will miss the fixture due to a knock that he picked up against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup.

There have been calls for Timo Werner to start in the final third, and the Germany international could now feature alongside Romelu Lukaku and Kai Havertz, with Mount on the sidelines.

The back three should be unchanged from the win over Tottenham Hotspur in the league last weekend, while Marcos Alonso is firmly first choice as the left-sided wing-back over Ben Chilwell.

Arguably Tuchel's biggest decision comes in the middle of the park, as he chooses whether N'Golo Kante or Mateo Kovacic start alongside Jorginho.

Kovacic has been in excellent form this term, but Kante is fit after a period on the sidelines, and having played 45 minutes against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, the France international could now be in line for a start against Pep Guardiola's side.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Mendy; Christensen, T Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Kante, Jorginho, Alonso; Havertz, Lukaku, Werner
