A report claims that Barcelona are prepared to pay up to £9m to sign Las Palmas youngster Mauricio Lemos in the summer transfer window.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Las Palmas youngster Mauricio Lemos this summer.

The 20-year-old spent the second half of the 2015-16 season on loan at Las Palmas from Rubin Kazan, before joining the Spanish outfit on a permanent contract earlier this month.

According to Canarias7, Barcelona were impressed with the youngster's performances in the second half of the season and are prepared to bid up to £9m for the Uruguay Under-20 international.

It is understood that Lemos, who made nine appearances for Las Palmas as the Canary islanders finished 11th in La Liga, has a £23m release clause in his current deal.
