Good afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of Saturday afternoon's football, with the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all in action.
The trio of European league leaders will all look to extend their lead at the top of their respective divisions today, as will Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
The FA Cup also returns for the fifth round, with four matches taking place today and two of them kicking off at 3pm.

2.19pmWest Brom have finally deigned to grace us with their team news, so let's take a look at what we can make of it. There is notably another start for Berahino, whose record in this competition is remarkable, while Rondon starts alongside the youngster up front. It is a strong side named by Tony Pulis in all. Hosts Reading, meanwhile, hand a debut to Rakels as they look to pull off an upset to reach the quarter-finals.
2.21pmThe other FA Cup tie starting at 3pm this afternoon sees Leeds travel to face Watford, and while Quique Flores has chosen to rest Ighalo at Vicarage Road, it is a fairly strong squad from the Premier League side overall. Leeds, meanwhile, will be look to refocus on matters on the field amidst yet more strife off it.

2.25pmIt's all over in South Wales, and it is a very impressive result indeed for Cardiff. Brighton had been beaten just four times all season before today, but they fall to a 4-1 defeat this afternoon and miss the chance to move into the automatic promotion places as a result, with neither Hull or Middlesbrough in action this afternoon. Cardiff, meanwhile, jump up to seventh and are now only two points outside the playoff places.
2.29pmArsenal 0-0 Hull: Still goalless at the Emirates as we head into the final few minutes. Can Hull hold on for a replay at the KC Stadium?
2.30pmWe're underway in Germany, where five Bundesliga matches are kicking off at 2.30pm today. That includes league leaders Bayern Munich, who are expected to extend their lead at the top to 11 points this afternoon.
2.32pmHere is how the top of the Championship looks following that 4-1 victory for Cardiff against Hull in the early kickoff. A real missed opportunity for the Seagulls...
2.34pmThere are a few big games taking place in the Championship today. At the wrong end of the table, MK Dons host Bristol City at stadium:mk, with those two sides occupying the two spaces directly above the relegation zone. Rotherham have a tricky away tie to Burnley, which could give Charlton a chance to gain some ground if they are able to pull off a result against London rivals Fulham.

They made 10 changes for this afternoon's match, but still managed to hold Arsenal to a goalless draw at the Emirates, forcing a replay back at the KC Stadium. It is the third time that these two sides have met in this competition over the past three seasons, and this is the first of those in which Hull have avoided defeat. Could the holders be on their way out?

BARCELONA: Messi, Neymar and Suarez are all in action again this afternoon as Barcelona look to extend both their club-record unbeaten streak and their six-point lead at the top of the La Liga table. They face Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday and, after the Gunners slipped up against Hull, have a chance to send a real message out if they can pick up another convincing victory. They look unstoppable at the moment.
2.52pmWATFORD VS. LEEDS: Watford will be looking to do what Arsenal failed to do earlier today and overcome Championship opposition to make it into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this afternoon. They may fancy their chances of going quite far in this season's competition and will certainly go into the game this afternoon as favourites to progress.
2.54pmFULL TIME: Exeter 1-1 Newport
2.55pmIt ends all square between Exeter and Newport, then, which doesn't really do much for either side in League Two to be honest. Exeter stay 13th in the table, now two points off the top half, while Newport edge seven clear of the relegation zone.

2.59pmREADING VS. WEST BROM: The third of the Premier League vs. Championship FA Cup ties this afternoons ees Reading host West Brom, and on paper at least this seemed like the most even of them. The Royals have home advantage against the Baggies, but aren't in the best form going into the game, so West Brom will still be favourites.
3.01pmHere we go then! Whistles are blowing up and down the country and across Europe as the 3pm kickoffs get underway. Here's hoping for plenty of goals!
3.03pmThe first goal of the 3pm kickoffs goes to Blackpool in League One! They take the lead away to Swindon, and if they can hold on it would be a major boost to their survival hopes.
3.06pmSticking in League One, bottom-of-the-table Colchester United have taken an early lead against Bury which, while not enough to take them off the bottom, would be a valuable glimmer of hope in their uphill battle against relegation.
3.07pmNational League leaders Cheltenham have broken the deadlock against playoff contenders Tranmere to take another step towards promotion back to League Two, while another playoff hopeful have suffered a setback, with Gateshead falling behind against Aldershot.
3.09pmThere is a big game taking place at the bottom of League One this afternoon, with Chesterfield taking on Crewe, and it is the home side Chesterfield who have struck first in that one. They currently sit a point and a place above the relegation zone, while Crewe are three points behind.

3.12pmHow are Arsenal going to cope with him? The man they tried to sign from Liverpool for a pound over £40m opens the scoring for Barcelona against Las Palmas, with Alba's low cross into the box allowing Suarez to fire home from close range.

3.15pmWell, that's not a bad response from Las Palmas! They level things up within five minutes of going behind against Barcelona, firing home from inside the box through Willian Jose.

3.19pmBayern have a huge Champions League game against last season's runners-up Juventus on Tuesday, and they rested a few usual first-choice players as a result this afternoon. It could well backfire on them, though, as they are trailing Darmstadt 1-0 at the halfway stage in Munich.

There is plenty happening in League One, though, with promotion-chasing Gillingham taking the lead against Oldham and bottom-of-the-table Colchester doubling their last against Crewe. Staying at the bottom of that table, Chesterfield are now 2-0 up against Crewe as well, which would be a big boost for the hosts but a huge blow for the visitors.
3.27pmYork are also in a perilous position a division below, hovering just above Yeovil and Dagenham in the final safety spot in the whole Football League. They have fallen two goals behind against Cambridge United, who still have playoff ambitions this season.
3.28pmHope for Crewe? They pull a goal back against relegation rivals Chesterfield with just under half an hour gone in that League One game.

3.39pmHere is the state of play at the bottom end of the Championship, where Fulham have jumped up a spot and Rotherham and Charlton are falling further away from safety as things stand. Indeed, the Addicks will drop to the bottom of the table with everything stays the same.
3.42pmIn terms of who could be coming up to the Championship next season, Wigan have given their promotion hopes a boost by taking the lead against fellow high-flyers Walsall in a huge match at the top of League One today. Gillingham still lead too, so it is turning into a bad day for Walsall at the moment.

Hoffenheim picked up just their third win of the season to move within three points of guaranteed safety, with Werder Bremen stuck in the relegation playoff place after another defeat.

5.07pmNot exactly a straightforward day for the Premier League sides in the FA Cup, then, with Hull holding Arsenal to a draw in the early kickoff at the Emirates Stadium setting the tone. Reading came from behind to dump West Brom out of the competition with a 3-1 victory, while Watford will join the Royals in the quarter-finals courtesy of a comical Scott Wootton own goal which was enough to hand them the win against Leeds.

5.12pmAs for what those results have done for the Championship table, it is Bristol City who will regard themselves as the big winners at the bottom end of the standings, having beaten fellow relegation rivals MK Dons and watched every other team below them in the table drop points too. Bolton climb off the bottom with a draw, although they led against QPR until late and could have finished the day 22nd instead. Charlton replace them at the foot of the table, while Rotherham remain five adrift of safety.
5.14pmQPR left it late to rescue that point against Charlton, but it is enough to lift them into the top half of the table, with Wolves and Brentford both losing this afternoon. The biggest winners of the day in this middle section, however, as Preston, who pulled off an impressive victory over 10-man Sheffield Wednesday to edge ever closer to the playoff positions.
5.16pmMeanwhile, at the summit, Burnley end the day in the automatic promotion places, with neither Hull nor Middlesbrough in Championship action this afternoon and Brighton having been beaten in the early kickoff. Derby scored three times in the final 10 minutes to come from behind and pick up their first league win since Boxing Day, lifting them back above the beaten Owls and to within five points of the automatic promotion places.
5.21pmBOURNEMOUTH 0-0 EVERTON: We're underway at Dean Court for the late FA Cup kickoff between Bournemouth and Everton. Who will make it through to join Reading and Watford in the quarter-finals?
5.24pmREADING 3-1 WEST BROM: West Brom's Chris Brunt has claimed that he was hit in the face by a coin thrown from the away end in his side's 3-1 defeat to Reading at the Madejski:
"I was walking towards our supporters at the end, and they thought it was OK to throw a coin at their own players. I'm disgusted," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"If they want to come forward and say they don't like what they've seen then that's fine. Fans are frustrated we were 1-0 up and lost. They paid a lot of money to come, but a small minority spoilt it. There were young kids there. I was absolutely disgusted and ashamed."
5.26pmGOAL! PSG 4-1 Reims (Zlatan Ibrahimovic)
5.27pmYet another goal for Ibrahimovic, and it looks like being yet another win for PSG. They are unstoppable in Ligue 1 at the moment and will go 27 points clear (!!!) barring an incredible Reims turnaround.
5.29pmBarcelona didn't have things all their own way against Las Palmas this afternoon, but Luis Enrique's side still managed to pick up the win courtesy of goals from Suarez and Neymar. It not only stretches their club-record unbeaten streak in all competitions, but also takes them seven points clear in La Liga, with the Madrid clubs having a game in hand.
5.31pmLas Palmas, meanwhile, remain in the relegation zone as a result of that defeat, and with Espanyol currently drawing with Deportivo La Coruna, the gap to safety is two points as things stand. They did better than many teams manage against Barca, but they do need to start getting points on the board.
5.32pmGOAL! Hellas Verona 1-0 Chievo (Luca Toni)
5.38pmCeltic joined the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and, it seems, PSG in extending their lead at the top of their respective tables with a 3-0 victory over Inverness today. The champions moved six points clear of Aberdeen in second, with all of the goals, including two from Leigh Griffiths, coming in the second half at Celtic Park. Here is how things look at the top end of the Scottish Championship now.
5.40pmWATFORD 1-0 LEEDS: Watford are in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time in nine years and, despite needing an own goal to get them there today, manager Quique Flores feels that they deserve it.
"We took control, we played well & deserved to go through to the next round of the FA Cup," he told reporters.
