England's Danny Willett has joined the PGA Tour following his maiden Major victory at The Masters earlier this month.

The Tour announced that Sheffield-born Willett, 28, has received a five-year exemption following his three-shot win at Augusta.

Willett has had three top-five finishes in five US tour events this season, also winning the Dubai Desert Classic on the European Tour.

His strong form has helped him climb into the top 10 of the world rankings and he is all but confirmed to represent Europe in the Ryder Cup for the first time later this year.
