Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says that he is "very proud" of his side following their Copa del Rey success on Sunday night.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has branded his side 'a team made of champions' after Sunday's 2-0 win over Sevilla in the 2016 Copa del Rey final.

The Catalan giants were unable to repeat their treble success from the 2014-15 campaign, but Enrique added the Copa del Rey crown to another La Liga title this season.

Barcelona have now lifted the Copa del Rey on 28 occasions and Enrique has said that he is "very proud" of his team.

"This team is made of champions, and I've congratulated them. They've again proved that they're a team who can adapt to any game situation," Enrique told reporters.

"They've shown pride and I'm very proud of them. I must also congratulate the fans because they never let us down. It's been a brilliant season, in which we've won four trophies, not just two."

Barcelona also won the European Super Cup and Club World Cup during the 2015-16 campaign.
