Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says that Huddersfield Town have pulled off an "incredible" achievement in avoiding defeat at both Manchester City and Chelsea.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Sunday's opponents Huddersfield Town, as well as the level of the clubs who were promoted from the Championship last season.

Huddersfield's 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Wednesday night means that Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion and the Terriers have all survived in the top flight.

Wenger has been left impressed by the achievement, especially with Huddersfield who have secured safety by avoiding defeat at both Manchester City and the Blues.

At a press conference, the Frenchman told reporters: "A few years ago, the Championship players were not prepared physically, that is gone. They have good managers as well. They are educated an prepared, and certainly in the first year, they are ready to fight.

"Huddersfield go to [Manchester] City and Chelsea, then they play Arsenal - At the moment they haven't lost. That is incredible."

Wenger takes his Gunners side to the John Smith's Stadium at the weekend having suffered seven successive league defeats on the road.
