Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri allegedly demands full control over transfers if he is to become the new manager of Arsenal.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly set out the demands he wants met if he is to consider becoming the next manager of Arsenal.

Since Arsene Wenger revealed that he was to step down from his role at the end of the season, Allegri has been touted as one of the favourites to replace the Frenchman in the dugout.

Earlier this week, Allegri suggested that he planned to remain in Turin but according to the Daily Star, the 50-year-old is still open to a switch to the Emirates Stadium.

However, Allegri has indicated that he wants full control of incomings and outgoings in the transfer market, rather than gifting some control to head of recruitment Sven Mislintat.

As it stands, Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta is also said to be in the frame for a head coach role with the Gunners, which would seemingly give the likes of Mislintat more freedom to bring in players of his choosing.
