Super League outfit Salford Red Devils confirm the signing of Castleford Tigers winger Justin Carney on a season-long loan.

Salford Red Devils have confirmed the signing of Castleford Tigers winger Justin Carney on a season-long loan.

The 27-year-old has scored 63 tries in 62 appearances for the West Yorkshire outfit, following his move from Sydney Roosters in 2013.

Speaking to the club's official website, Carney said: "I'm happy to be joining the Red Devils and looking forward to a new challenge. I'm ready to get started and really rip in ahead of the 2016 season."

Carney scored 18 tries in 18 appearances last season as Castleford finished fifth in the Super League table.
