Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash confirms that Rangi Chase, Theo Fages, Harrison Hansen and Cory Paterson will all leave the club at the end of the season.

Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash has confirmed that Rangi Chase, Theo Fages, Harrison Hansen and Cory Paterson will all leave the club at the end of the season.

The club secured their Super League status after a 24-10 victory over Widnes Vikings on Sunday, and Koukash has suggested that there will be significant changes to the playing staff ahead of next season.

Former Super League Man of Steel Chase and forward Hansen will be given free transfers, while Paterson has agreed a move to Leigh Centurions, and Koukash has confirmed that 21-year-old Fages is close to agreeing a move away from the club.

"We're very close with his advisers to reaching a deal and we want to wish him all the very best," Koukash is quoted by BBC Sport as saying.

"Everything was on hold until we secured our position in Super League. Having done that now, it's a matter of finalising the deals.

"I have no doubt that there will be at least six to eight new arrivals."

Salford will take on Hull Kingston Rovers in their final Super League Qualifiers fixture of the season on Sunday.
