Big-spending Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly consider a £20m move for Burnley forward Andre Gray.

Big-spending Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly considering a £20m move for Burnley forward Andre Gray.

Gray has scored 33 goals in 78 appearances for Burnley following a 2015 move from Brentford, but the forward only has 12 months to run on his contract at Turf Moor, and it is understood that he wants a much-improved deal.

West Ham United and Newcastle United have both been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old this summer, but Gray recently claimed that he is "concentrating on Burnley" rather than listening to the speculation.

According to The Mirror, Wolves have now joined the race for a player that scored nine Premier League goals last season, with the Championship outfit prepared to bid £20m in order to convince Burnley to sell the forward.

Gray represented hometown side Wolves as a youngster before leaving the club at the age of 13.
