Switzerland vs. Cameroon: How do both squads compare ahead of World Cup clash?

Sports Mole looks at how the squads of Switzerland and Cameroon compare ahead of Thursday's World Cup clash between the two sides.

Switzerland and Cameroon get their respective 2022 FIFA World Cup journeys underway on Thursday morning with a meeting at the Al Janoub Stadium.

The teams have been drawn in Group G of the competition alongside five-time winners Brazil, who will take on Serbia in their opening fixture.

Having reached the knockout stages in each of their last two outings at this level, Murat Yakin's men know that the importance of a victory in Al Wakrah on matchday one cannot be overemphasized.

Cameroon, meanwhile, go in search of a first World Cup triumph in two decades, which would boost their chances of avoiding an early exit for the first time since 1990.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the squads of Switzerland and Cameroon stack up against each other ahead of the contest.
