Paris Saint-Germain allegedly feel that Kylian Mbappe has already agreed to sign for Real Madrid during the 2024 summer transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain allegedly feel that Kylian Mbappe has already agreed to sign for Real Madrid next year.

Last summer, Mbappe made the decision to reject a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu in order to pen a new two-year contract at Parc des Princes.

However, the terms came with clauses, one of which allows Mbappe to extend his contract by a further 12 months, but that has seemingly being taken off the table.

The France international has already informed the PSG hierarchy that he intends to leave as a free agent in 2024, a development which has not been well received.

Given the value of the 2018 World Cup winner, PSG have no intention of keeping Mbappe if he intends to walk away for nothing in 12 months time, and their respective stances are causing friction behind the scenes.

PSG have allegedly set Mbappe's asking price at £150m, despite the likelihood that no teams in world football are in a position to meet that demand or prepared to shell out such money when one of the world's best players will soon be available on a free.

According to Sky Sports News, PSG have taken the approach to formally tell Mbappe that they want to sell him as soon as possible.

A letter is said to have been sent to the 24-year-old at the start of the week to encourage him to pen a new deal with the Ligue 1 champions.

Mbappe has allegedly indicated in the past that he would want PSG to recoup a fee for his services when he takes on a fresh challenge, something which will not occur if he sticks with his current decision.

PSG's all-time leading goalscorer has expressed a willingness to spend 2023-24 in the French capital, yet the report says that PSG are of the opinion that he has already held talks with Real.

The La Liga giants require a new frontline attacker to replace Karim Benzema, but they are not in a position to pay one of the world's biggest-ever transfer fees over the next two months.

Los Blancos have already been busy in the current market, signing the likes of Fran Garcia, Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler and Joselu, as well as reintegrating Brahim Diaz back into the first-team group.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been linked with Mbappe, although it is unlikely that either of the Premier League giants will attempt to sign the player this summer.
