Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is reportedly keen to sign a new contract with the club, despite interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.

Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is keen to sign a new contract with the club, according to a report.

The 25-year-old has recently been linked with a move away from Elland Road, amid reported interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.

Phillips has three years remaining on his current deal but Leeds are looking to offer the midfielder a new and improved long-term contract to fend off interest in his services.

According to The Athletic, Phillips has indicated to the club's hierarchy that he is keen to negotiate fresh terms and commit his future to Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The report adds that Leeds are yet to formally discuss figures with the Yorkshireman's representatives, however the Whites plan to enter negotiations soon and are prepared to make him the club's highest-paid player, earning around £100,000 per week.

Bielsa is confident that Phillips will stay at Elland Road and believes he would only leave the club if it was guaranteed his legacy remained intact.

Phillips, who is understood to be valued at around £60m, has established himself as one of the Premier League's best defensive midfielders as well as a regular in Gareth Southgate's England side.
