Manchester United could offload as many as 13 players during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to offload as many as 13 players during this summer's transfer window, with head coach Erik ten Hag set to start the next phase of his rebuild.

The Red Devils ended a six-year trophy drought by winning the EFL Cup at the end of February, while they are still active in the Europa League and FA Cup at this late stage of the campaign.

Man United are also fighting to finish in the top four in the Premier League table, with Ten Hag and his players fully focused on a busy end to the campaign.

However, plans for the summer transfer window are well underway, with the club expected to be active in terms of incomings, while a number of players are also set to depart.

According to the Daily Mail, up to 13 players could leave Old Trafford in the upcoming market, with Ten Hag keen to move a number of individuals on ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

The report claims that Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek and Brandon Williams could all depart this summer.

Van de Beek has been out since January with a serious knee injury, while Williams has hardly been involved for the first team this season, with the Englishman down the pecking order for the left-back spot.

Martial has had an injury-hit campaign, being restricted to just 17 appearances, but he has found the back of the net on seven occasions, including a strike against Everton last time out.

Maguire has dropped down the pecking order this season due to the arrival of Lisandro Martinez last summer, with the England international only making 25 appearances in all competitions.

Wan-Bissaka's future at Old Trafford is also unclear despite showing strong form for the 20-time English champions since December, with Diogo Dalot struggling with injuries following the 2022 World Cup.

Anthony Elanga could also leave, with the Sweden international only managing two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions, while Alex Telles and Eric Bailly may depart on permanent deals.

Telles is currently on loan at Sevilla, while Bailly moved to Marseille for the 2022-23 campaign.

Both players are expected to return to Old Trafford this summer but are allegedly not in the plans of Ten Hag moving forward, which will likely lead to them moving on.

Amad Diallo, however, could reportedly be given the chance to make his mark at the club, having impressed during a loan spell at Sunderland this season, scoring 11 goals and registering three assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.

Phil Jones and Tom Heaton both only have contracts until the end of the season, while decisions must be made about the futures of on-loan trio Marcel Sabitzer, Wout Weghorst and Jack Butland.
