Liverpool reportedly reject an offer from Napoli for defender Alberto Moreno, despite being open to the Spaniard leaving Anfield this summer.

Liverpool have reportedly rejected an offer of £10.5m from Napoli for defender Alberto Moreno.

After playing just 298 minutes of Premier League football last season, it has been suggested that Moreno has been made available for transfer as Jurgen Klopp looks to generate extra funds for the summer window.

However, according to The Mirror, the Merseyside giants have decided to turn down a sizeable bid for the Spanish left-back.

It has been claimed that Liverpool and Klopp are looking for a fee closer to £12m, the amount they paid for Moreno when signing him from Sevilla in 2014.

Liverpool are currently in the market for another left-back to act as competition for the versatile James Milner, who deputised in the position throughout the most recent campaign.
