The two sides played out a pulsating 2-2 draw in last weekend's Premier League encounter at the Etihad Stadium and are bidding to meet either Chelsea or Crystal Palace in the showpiece event this weekend.

Roberto Firmino's brace and Ibrahima Konate's header cancelled out strikes from Goncalo Ramos, Roman Yaremchuk and the in-demand Darwin Nunez in a 3-3 thriller, with the latter also seeing two further strikes ruled out for offside as Liverpool set up a semi-final showdown with giant killers Villarreal.
Never before have Liverpool managed to reach the semi-finals of the EFL Cup, FA Cup and Champions League in one season, and aspirations of a remarkable quadruple are very much still a possibility, even though they will be relying on Man City dropping points to have a shot at Premier League glory.
The Reds have knocked Shrewsbury Town, Cardiff City, Norwich City and Nottingham Forest out of the tournament to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time since 2014-15 - before Klopp had arrived - and they have made the final on eight of the last 10 occasions that they have reached the final four.

Man City were in the wars against Atletico on Wednesday night - Phil Foden's bandaged head was evidence of that - and Guardiola also lost Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne to injuries, with the former twisting his ankle while De Bruyne needed stitches in his calf.
Guardiola claimed that the injuries left his side in "big trouble" before the semi-final, but Ruben Dias was fit enough to make the bench at the Wanda Metropolitano, and Gabriel Jesus is back from a European suspension.
Dias's return could see John Stones move to right-back to cover for the injured Walker, or Joao Cancelo could switch flanks as either Nathan Ake or Oleksandr Zinchenko return on the left, so Guardiola has plenty of options for change in the defensive areas. De Bruyne's issue will also likely lead to a recall for Raheem Sterling.
In contrast, Liverpool boss Klopp could once again be working with a full complement of options after his players came through the second leg with Benfica unscathed, but Diogo Jota has emerged as a slight doubt due to a knock.
Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are set for recalls to the backline, while Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara both came off the bench against Benfica and should feature from the off here.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are also poised to come back into the first XI, with Luis Diaz potentially joining the African duo after coming off just after the hour mark in the second leg with Benfica.

Man City arguably should have killed the game off against Liverpool early doors last week, but injuries to key players during a clash with Atletico which certainly left its mark undoubtedly hands Liverpool the advantage.
While Guardiola's first XI left it all out on the Wanda Metropolitano turf, Klopp was able to give a good number of his big-hitters the night off, and the fresh legs of a free-scoring Liverpool side can once again carve their way through the City backline to advance to the final.
