Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg with Inter Milan.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will need to check on the fitnesses of three players ahead of Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg with Inter Milan.

Joel Matip missed the win over West Ham United through illness, while Thiago Alcantara and Roberto Firmino's injuries will need to be assessed, but all three players have been back in training.

Even if Thiago and Firmino are passed fit, Klopp will surely only consider introducing the pair from the bench after Liverpool claimed a 2-0 first-leg advantage at San Siro.

Ibrahima Konate produced a strong showing alongside Virgil van Dijk against the Hammers and should therefore keep his place in an unchanged backline with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.

Jordan Henderson and Fabinho are indispensable in the engine room, while Naby Keita was fit enough to start on Saturday and could do so again despite pressure from Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott.

Mohamed Salah did not enjoy his finest hour against West Ham but it would be surprising to see the Egyptian drop to the bench, although Klopp could still make a change in the frontline.

Diogo Jota has now fully recovered from his ankle injury and could feature from the first whistle ahead of Sadio Mane, as Luis Diaz continues on the left-hand side.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Keita; Salah, Jota, Diaz
