Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their FA Cup clash with Plymouth Argyle.

Chelsea return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a visit to London neighbours Crystal Palace.

The Blues have recently spent time competing in cup competitions, edging past Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup before winning the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi.

Thomas Tuchel's team now sit just six points clear in the race for the top four, heaping the pressure on the newly-crowned world champions as they meet one of their city rivals at Selhurst Park.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the showdown with the Eagles.

Mason Mount

Possible return date: February 27 (vs. Liverpool)

Mount had to be withdrawn during the Club World Cup final with an ankle injury, it later being revealed that he had sustained ankle ligament damage. Reports suggest that he will spend a couple of weeks on the sidelines, putting him at risk of missing the EFL Cup final.

Ben Chilwell
