A report claims that Inter Milan have been offered the chance to sign Malcom from Barcelona, just three months after the Brazilian made the switch to Camp Nou.

Malcom's representatives are attempting to engineer an early exit from Barcelona for the Brazilian midfielder, according to a report.

Three months on from joining the Catalan giants in a £36.5m move from Bordeaux, the 21-year-old is still awaiting his first competitive start.

Malcom has so far had to settle for a couple of cameo appearances from the bench, totalling 25 minutes on the field in the win against Real Valladolid and defeat to Leganes.

Italian news outlet Calciomercato suggests that the player's agent has now contacted Serie A side Inter Milan regarding a move, with the hope of pushing through a deal in time for the New Year.

Inter, along with domestic rivals Roma, are understood to have made an approach for Malcom before he joined Barcelona, but it is unknown whether they are willing to reignite their interest.
