How Barcelona could line up against Sevilla

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Sevilla.

Barcelona will attempt to win in La Liga for the first time since September 15 when they welcome Sevilla to Camp Nou this weekend.

The Spanish champions have drawn three of their last four league matches, and also suffered a 2-1 defeat at Leganes on September 26.

The teams around them have also had their issues this term, however, meaning that second-placed Barcelona are just one point off division leaders Sevilla ahead of Saturday night's mouth-watering clash at Camp Nou.

Sevilla will enter the match off the back of four straight league wins, but Barcelona have a very strong home record against the Red and Whites, winning each of their last six La Liga meetings at Camp Nou.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up against Sevilla this weekend.

Possible BAR XI vs. SEV

Out: Samuel Umtiti (knee), Thomas Vermaelen (hamstring)
Doubtful: Sergi Roberto (muscular), Luis Suarez (knee)

Barcelona will again be without the services of Samuel Umtiti due to a knee injury. Thomas Vermaelen started against Valencia last time out, but the Belgian picked up a hamstring problem and will now be replaced in the XI by Clement Lenglet.

Lenglet arrived at Camp Nou from Sevilla during the summer transfer window, and should start alongside Gerard Pique at centre-back. Nelson Semedo, meanwhile, is also expected to keep his spot at right-back due to Sergi Roberto's recent injury troubles.

Further forward, head coach Ernesto Valverde has a decision to make when it comes to Philippe Coutinho's position in the XI. A spot in the front three would see Arthur feature in central midfield, but Coutinho will drop back if Ousmane Dembele is handed a spot alongside Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

Luis Suarez did not represent Uruguay during the recent international break for family reasons, and was able to receive treatment on a troubling knee problem. The striker's form has been questioned this season, but he will again start here.

Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets pick themselves in the middle of the park, meaning that Rafinha and Denis Suarez will again have to make do with spots on the bench.
