Young attacker Munir El Haddadi is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract until the summer of 2021 with Barcelona.

Munir El Haddadi and Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement in principal on terms for a new contract.

The 20-year-old's current deal at Camp Nou is due to expire at the end of next season.

The attacker broke into the senior side during the 2014-15 campaign, but has found starting opportunities harder to come by this time around as Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar have been in free-scoring form.

Nevertheless, Sport claims that Barca are eager to tie the youngster down to a fresh and improved deal.

The report adds that the new terms are likely to see Munir commit himself to the Spanish champions until 2021.

Munir has scored three goals from his 15 La Liga appearances this campaign.
