A report claims that Arsenal join the growing list of admirers for AS Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe.

Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign AS Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe.

The 17-year-old only signed his first professional contract in March, but it is thought that a number of European clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, want to sign the France Under-19 international.

It is understood that Manchester City made a £35m bid for the forward in the summer, but Monaco were able to hold onto their prized asset, who became the club's youngest-ever scorer last season.

According to Calciomercato.it, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now also closely monitoring the teenager's performances with a view to launching a bid at the end of the current season.

Mbappe is contracted to Monaco until the summer of 2019.
