Saturday's Premier League predictions including West Ham vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including West Ham vs. Chelsea.

The 120th meeting between West Ham United and Chelsea will take place at the London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime when the two sides face off in the Premier League.

While the Hammers are seeking to claim back-to-back home wins for the first time since October, the Blues are hoping to avoid an eighth successive away game without a victory.

We say: West Ham United 1-1 Chelsea

West Ham could end the weekend inside the relegation zone if they fail to claim maximum points on Saturday, while Chelsea could find themselves in the bottom half of the table should they fail to come out on top at the London Stadium, so both sides will be determined to win this intriguing contest.

Considering the two teams have struggled to find their shooting boots this term, a low-scoring affair could be on the cards, and we feel that the spoils will be shared on this occasion.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Arsenal vs. Brentford (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Seeking to avoid a third successive defeat across all competitions, Arsenal return to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon for a London derby against Brentford in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta's side were stunned 1-0 by relegation-threatened Everton last time out, while the Bees cruised to a 3-0 triumph over Southampton to further their European ambitions.

We say: Arsenal 1-0 Brentford

Another frustrating afternoon could be on the cards for an Arsenal side who have lost their way a touch in recent weeks, especially with Brentford stringing together a spate of defensive masterclasses in their stellar unbeaten run.

However, Arteta's men have turned up the heat in London derbies this season, and a return to home comforts is just what the doctor ordered for the league leaders, who should have enough in the tank to edge a close contest and go eight points clear at the summit, but Brentford will not make it easy for them.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Crystal Palace vs. Brighton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

The latest instalment of the M23 derby takes place at Selhurst Park on Saturday as Crystal Palace play host to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.

While the Eagles are still searching for their first win in 2023, the Seagulls are seeking to extend their unbeaten start to the New Year to seven matches.

We say: Crystal Palace 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion

There has been little to separate Crystal Palace and Brighton in recent meetings, and another closely-fought contest could be on the cards at Selhurst Park.

However, the momentum is certainly with the Seagulls and we can see them coming out on top to extend their unbeaten run and consolidate their place in the top six.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Fulham vs. Nott'm Forest (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Nottingham Forest will be looking to maintain their strong Premier League form when they face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

No team has picked up more Premier League points than Steve Cooper's side in 2023, although Fulham remain eight points above Forest in the table.

We say: Fulham 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Having taken 11 points from a possible 15 since the turn of the year, Nottingham Forest will be confident of avoiding defeat on Saturday, but the visitors could struggle to taste victory at Craven Cottage.

Regardless of their recent form, Cooper's side have the second-worst away record in the Premier League, so Fulham are expected to pick up a point on home soil.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Leicester vs. Spurs (Saturday, 3.00pm)

A place in the top four of the Premier League table is up for grabs when Tottenham Hotspur travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers's men thumped Aston Villa 4-2 in their most recent match, while the Lilywhites dented Manchester City's title chances with a 1-0 win in North London.

We say: Leicester City 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur

With Spurs missing their captain and one of their most influential centre-backs, their chances of a fourth successive clean sheet seem slim against a Leicester side possessing the midas touch.

Games between Leicester and Tottenham do not tend to be dull affairs, especially with Kane scoring more goals against the Foxes than any other opponent in his career so far, and we expect the visitors' wealth of attacking options to come good against a leaky Leicester backline and send Conte's men into the top four.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Wolves (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Having experienced very different fortunes last weekend, Southampton and their fellow Premier League strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers convene at St Mary's Stadium on Saturday.

Not long after their EFL Cup semi-final defeat, Saints suffered another league loss at the hands of Brentford; meanwhile, Wolves were the latest team to pick off an ailing Liverpool side - hauling them up to 15th place in the table.

We say: Southampton 0-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Both yet to reach 20 league goals this season, these two strugglers should serve up a low-scoring encounter - even after Wolves' three-goal heroics last week and Saints' capitulation in the capital. A single strike could decide the points' destiny, and the visitors' greater confidence will ensure it goes their way.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Bournemouth vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Facing another reunion with his former club, Eddie Howe's Newcastle United make the long and arduous journey south for Saturday's Premier League evening kickoff, meeting Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Magpies were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham United in their most recent encounter, while Gary O'Neil's side fell to a late 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.

We say: Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle United

There is a clear difference between a Newcastle side with Guimaraes and without Guimaraes, and Bournemouth's summer signings have injected some life into their ailing attack, even if the goals are not flowing just yet.

Howe's men did not cover themselves in glory against West Ham either and have not displayed a clinical edge in recent weeks, but with Bournemouth still unable to keep the back door shut, Newcastle should be able to nick a goal and return to St James' Park with a much-needed victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
